That's a good start imo .... no hairline fractures at least. I had one at the top of my tibia (from landing "wrong" playing b-ball) when I was in my upper 20s.... so in a cast, then rehab, etc. Next time I tried playing months later.... POP goes the kneezle :(. When 'scoped, the ACL had atrophied, and was removed along with torn cartilages ..... surgery performed by pro football doc and then rehab for months at his team facility and PTs. 35 yeas later ... no real issues except skiiing medals etc. and no NBA career :(. LOL .... I sucked ;).
I could still ride a bike just fine tho' ;)
Good luck with the MRI .... don't be afraid to get a second opinion either. I'd hate to see how muscles would atrophy at my age if in a cast now .... but that leg has been bigger & stronger for decades since... rehab like a dedicated pro would!
