Goodbye Mandalorian

A great first season. A mediocre second (Boba). Third season and especially last weeks' episode is a warm bowl of Edited: Really?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

- and no, I don't watch the new ones. Baby Yoda doesn't do it for me.

I thought that of all 3 seasons honestly. Spaghetti western stories with a mini yoda, how cute... I don't get it at all..Boba Fett as pretty bad also, worse possibly. I've recently rewatched the last 2 Star wars, it's pretty damn awful too story wise... Pretty scenery but bad story and the constant Lucas style cuts from one story to the next, making your head spin. If it was not for pretty special effects.....

The only 2 good star wars things for adults in my book have been Rogue one, and Andor. Both really good. The rest is a joke for 6y olds. I'd hide under a rock but SW lovers probably aim like stormtroopers anyway.

The originals weren't bad, but I'm not sure how well they've held up. It's been forever since I watched them, and I remember being underwhelmed (many, many years after they first came out when I thought they were the bees knees). I watched the 3 that came out after, and really enjoyed aspects of them, but then when I went back and tried to watch them again, the guy that played the older Anakin (teen-early 20s?) was so whiny, that I couldn't manage to get through them.

I think I've seen all of them but "Rise of Skywalker".

I thought the recent ones that I've seen were decent. I don't think they were earth shattering. I haven't watched them again, and I can't remember much of the story.

IIRC, I think the best of the most recent were Rogue One and Solo.

Have not watched any of them, but I do like the art and images that have arrived via the little green guy.

Probably the most iconic character to come out of the Disney epoch to date.

Totally agree. But what I've seen played out on screen hasn't really captivated me (not that they owe me anything).

Grogu is the most "newer" iconic image. Lot's of possibility there. I feel like it would be, could be, should be, a natural fit.

Personally, I'm liking Rogue one and solo. I like Ahmed Best got recast. I should probably watch more of grogu. Can't knock it unless I give a chance.... perhaps he does something more than flip frogs (I haven't really watched enough to know). His cuteness factor is large in the force, I want something more badarssee.. Perhaps it's there but I haven't seen it yet. edit- I'll also take Dave Filoni over Kathleen K. any day of the week.

Hmmm. I'm enjoying it for the light entertainment it is. I've been able to watch it with all 3 of my kids--even my daughter, as she's interested in it because an old soccer coach of hers plays Mando.

For me, the show has been reasonably entertaining, but at 60 yo I'm no longer the target audience, based on social media. If you've only watched the movies, the show is meh. If you've watched Clone Wars and Rebels, you'll need a cigarette after. This is the show they're watching (some language NSFW):

I thought Solo was the worst movie so far and didnt care for Rogue Oe as a Star Wars story. The last 3 were decent action movies but dont really have the Star Wars vibe. Mandalorian seasons 1 and 2 were decent enough.

Then again, for me, Han shot first and Darth Vader was silent when he decided to toss Palpatine down the shaft.

I thought the last episode was much better, taking it for what it’s worth…

Seems like you would want to deep fry something that looked like baby Yoda before you ate it.

I get that is the Bee and all, but was this Lizzo person on the show, you know, for realsies? They must be pretty desperate.

I watched first two seasons, liked it okay, even with the unfortunate CG Luke Skywalker at the end. He looked like he was rotoscoped.

Ever since Hugh retired, the House of Mouse has turned to crap. Seriously, dude starts traveling around a little bit in his Taj Mahal-RV and Disney goes straight into the dumper. I was never really clear on what he did for those MFers, but apparently it was pretty GD vital. He is gone a fairly brief amount of time and they are ready to lynch the CEO at a stockholder's meeting.

Guac or sour cream on top would be best.

First, you know her name, so why would she be a bad choice?
Second, she's won a Grammy or two, so why would she be a bad choice?
Third, did you feel the same way when Colt 45 salesman Billy Dee Williams was in a Star Wars movie?

All y'all who have given up on the show dropped out too soon, tonight's episode was FIRE as the kids say.
