Home wind turbine

There is a 2000w 240v wind turbine complete kit with batteries cheap locally in the classifieds.

Maths are not my strong suit so assuming we get 10 to 15 mph winds most days how much would we save at .109600 per kwh?

would save you 20 cents an hour for every hour the wind is blowing fast enough to consistently maximize its output.

Call it 15 cents for pragmatisim and you can save almost 4$ on a day where it is constantly windy for 24 hrs straight.

Small wind turbine makes more sense if there is something you want to remotely power and have a battery as well

This comes with the battery and tower and inverter and charger. Guy is in a valley and couldn't get a tall enough tower.

The calmest month here is ab average of 11.9 mph. April is 17.6 mph on average. We are in the country with farm fields all around.

1200 for the complete system 6 months old. Wasn't sure if it was worth it. Would have to hire someone to wire it all in.

That sounds like a bargain to me. Go for it.

What kind of batteries? Are they two volt cells like GNB flooded classics or are they series parallel 12 volt batteries?
