I mean Omega might be forgiven for their name since they came up with it 120 years ago after they had already been in buisness for around 50.
Sinn is great (I have a 104 as a casual beater, but i dont wear it much), but they are a tool watch case maker. Omega's history with movement innovation, going to the moon, coaxial escarpment, and just longevity is a different thing. I don't love modern omegas except for maybe speedy but as an in house watch maker they are pretty high value. Certainly better than that other company that they want to be. I think omega and grand seiko are the value leaders for this sort of thing but they are trying too hard to be everything to everyone. Rolex is a company full off SOBs but they still set the trends on sports watches.

I get what you’re saying about Omega and Sinn. They both have their strengths, but they’re pretty different in focus. I’ve got a Calatrava Replica Watches that I really like, and it’s been a great addition to my collection. Omega’s innovation is impressive, but I also think there’s something to be said for finding value in different brands and models. What’s your take on blending classic looks with modern features?
