Are you a big fan of anything?
I know people who are really into the SF 49ers. I mean really into it. They fly flags on their porch, on theirs cars and wear jerseys, etc. MY BIL has a Niners throw on his couch and has pillowcases with the logo.
I’m not a fanatic like that but I do love the Beatles. I don’t have any t-shirts or posters but I sing their songs all the time. That’s about it for me. |

I have way too many interests. But I am not a sports fan or a rabid music fan.
In the past, I was a huge fan of SRV, Neil Young, lots of blues and 80's punk bands. Now? I am a enthusiastic evangelist of a few things: Black Mouth Curs (and to a lesser degree, most all dogs) Fly fishing Dirt Biking Hand Planes Cheap Travel Real Estate Investing Mexican Food My family And there is more. It is funny. I am a sales person who doesn't care a whit about professional sports or golf. People think I am weird. |

Cars and Cappuccino

College football, but that is waning with the transfer portal and all the $$$ sloshin around.
Riding my bike to the beach and then on the beach and then grabbing a drink at the beach (club). Windy roads, fun old cars and a semi-unhealthy breakfast with a few buddies early on a warm Sunday morning.

Less and less with each day. Used to be a big fan of Porsches. I couldn't care less now. What I learned from that is how to get burned out. Be too much of a big fan.

yes and yes!!! moved to jeeps now which is perfect for where I live now, and have met many, many people up here through that. also met a ton of porsche people thru this board back in the day.... the early 2000's there was a group call the Bay Area Pelicans and I met guys from all over the bay for drives, AX, track days and eventually racing. 1 or 2 of which will be lifelong friends that I still see regularly. most of the BAP group no longer have 911's. rode/raced dirt and dualsport motorcycles, and go-carts before the porsche thing started. still keep a dualsport and a supermoto street bike that i ride from time to time, but have little interest in pastly done things. i would not change a thing about building and racing my spec911. still get chill bumps when i watch my old videos. lil too wrapped up in modding the rubicon. just got it back today from a regearing and chromo axle install... |

I have trouble finding sweatshirts here that are not emblazoned Ducks or Beavers. No, not really a fan. But I do so love it on those rare times that the Beavers beat the Ducks in football. That only happens once in a decade or so. Ducks have all the NIKE money.
Interested in several things...guess I'll always be a "car guy", which leads to a tool collection..mostly USA Craftsman, but other brands as well.

I'm not a fan. |

Funny. While I don't care anything about sports, I am typically seen with a green Ducks hat. Wore one today. Will wear again in 30 minutes when I walk the dog. I am an alumni. It is a harkening back to my fun days.

I'm not that big a fan of much of anything. I don't dress up for a make, vendor, team. I don't have paraphernalia for a make, vendor, team. Porsche is probably the closest that I come to being a fanboy of anything, but I feel like that sort of fan is often rabid for that thing and that thing only. But I love all sorts of sports cars, hot rods, muscle cars, pony cars, etc...
I like good food. I like vehicles/motors that are exceptional in some way. I'm a pretty big Porschephile, but not to the exclusion of other makes or even types of vehicles. I like exceptional engineering.

Rode bike racing or the training ride itself is more fun. Lots of suffering. Don't really have flags, signs or anything like that but a couple of tee shirts bought at local races or given to me by bike companies. 911s. Still like them jsut don't like working on cars in general anymore. Have a couple of tee shirts from Luft, Rennsport or races but nothing loud but a small emblem. Still like anything construction. Go to all the trade shows just to get out of town for couple days. Don't watch sports so I suppose that's it. I am pretty boring. I rather spend time with my family then going to a game.

Long suffering (since 1961) San Diego Charger fan. Still watch most games even though they've carpetbagged up the road.
General admission for games at old Balboa Stadium was $1.50 and you could buy your ticket five minutes before the kickoff. Can't afford the parking now at SoFi. |

I have (4) main interests:
Music - but I'm picky. Food: I am very adventuresome - tell me what it is after I eat it. Food can tell you allot about a culture. Art: I have been drawing ever since I can remember. I wanted to be an automotive designer - I sent drawings to GM and Chrysler at the age of 13. I am a mechanical engineer by education and profession but I still love to draw. I use pastels and markers and paint urban and nocturne stuff. My love for art made me a better engineer Cars - love the designs of the 30s and the early 50s.
