I quit watching golf last year due to this mess. I used to really enjoy it. This is CART-IRL all over again with the Saudi government playing the role of Tony George. Maybe I'll watch again years from now when it gets straightened out. But there're so many entertainment alternatives out there these days - who cares?

The 3 day shootout format is better for everyone except the
people selling advertising time.
If he doesn't want to deal with it,

Reminds me of the whiners who complained the most
about LIV golf (yes you Rory)
only to see it be so successful that the PGA had to sell out
or risk eventually being turning into a minor league franchise.
This is just an natural evolution of that merger.
