Broken turn signal
How does this happen? I washed the 964 last weekend and discovered a broken left front turn signal lens. No idea how it happened or how long it's been like that. Obviously it's not something self-inflicted at home. No other visible damage to the car or bumper.
Oddly, I found an extra light bulb wedged in the broken plastic. It's not from my car, as my turn signal bulb looks different and the light still flashes properly. Did someone hit me in a parking lot? Did I hit debris on the highway? If so, how would it penetrate from the side of the car? Not necessarily mad--just perplexed. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1685645952.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1685645952.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1685645952.jpg |

My guess...flying road debris. Weird physics...like seeing straws inserted in telephone poles after a hurricane..

My guess...flying light bulb, lol. Doh!

Road debris would be my guess as well, coupled with them getting older and more brittle.
The extra bulb is weird though. |
Nice patina! :)

Alarick,
Considering everyones turn signals are broken in Los Angeles its not so bad. That extra bulb is a head scratcher though. |
