Prime Wireless
For anyone who already pays the Prime annual fee...this looks like it might be a good thing.
Unlike the failed 'Fire Phone' of a few years ago, this would be just a carrier service, for cheap. ($10/month) I'm a member...so I would probably try it. https://news.yahoo.com/amazon-prime-plan-might-soon-143444439.html . |

Just the Prime Movies is enough to justify the membership for me. Then the free shipping and money back on all purchases with the no annual fee Prime Card. I currently also have Tracfone...you are correct, TF has the best prices right now. |
If they go with T-Mobile it won't help me. My house is 50% dead for TM. I have to be in the front part or outside with the phone next to a metal gate. Never had great service with any provider.
IDK how people can stand talking on cell phones. If there is not a delay or echo, the conversation is garbled. I'm sorry I got rid of my land line. My best phone calls are in my truck using Bluetooth. Somewhere else than home. |
T MO is absolute garbage here in PHX. I had it for a week, and the phone kept falling asleep- would go to "SOS" so I wouldn't receive incoming calls.
Their tech support is overseas, speaks English but does not understand English. rjp |
LOL .... have y'all seen my other thread :D?
No "one size fits all...." that is for sure when it comes to cell phone coverage. A few years ago when I was on the coast of NC, just south of the Outer Banks with my Consumer Cellular phone using a T-Mobile SIM .... I had no cell phone coverage/access AT ALL for two whole days ..... It was great :)! |

Partnering with Verizon would be the best choice for this area. Never hear any complaints about them. |
LOL .... well .... let me tell ya about my experiences with Verizon ... don't get me started :(!
|
^^^ Yeah, but do they guarantee coverage in the mountains? :D
|
If a person already pays for Prime.....it wouldn't make much sense to not check into the Prime Wireless.
Maybe it won't be worth the $10/month....Some don't bat an eye at a $75/month charge. |
Prime should partner up with Tracfone....that would be a winner.

The ones in my pic needed extra money to keep their boobies covered. :D

Looks like a click bait story. A couple paragraphs down…
“However, we are not in discussions about inclusion of our wireless in Prime service, and Amazon has told us they have no plans to add wireless service." An AT&T spokesperson told Insider that the company is "not in discussions with Amazon to resell wireless services." So, someone wrote a story that said nothing like the title. |
^^^ Try this one.

Prime is close to $150/year now. I'm not so sure that it's worth it anymore.
|
If you buy enough stuff from them...it's worth it for the free shipping.
Watch Prime movies instead of Netflix...save over that much alone. Plus the Amazon Wimmins. :D |

Bye bye. I hope that triggers an algorithms they keep on my usage because I might be able to do 30 seconds of YT but not 5 minutes. I don't think Prime is worth it anymore. The shipping thing isn't really free but it is fast. |
^^^
I find my Netflix queue to have dozens of movies that I started watching and quit. Prime...not so many. Prime has better documentaries...imo. |
Yes, lots and lots of great documentaries. I started with "The Wrecking Crew" and dove into rock videos for a year.
