i dont really get the notion of celebrating a whinny brat with basic grievances who decided to violently take matters into his own hands.

I always wondered what the full story was. Back then it was on the news for a day, Then Reagan died and that story vanished. I soon forgot about it.

He is a classic example of pushing a man too far. That small town of generational owners and their corruption was beyond the reach of any legal action of a average citizen. He snapped, and took his revenge in the only way he could think of.

The only justice is the story of corrupt generational family was exposed as just rich low life crooks that were and likely still are above the law.

And this is everywhere in the United States....

Much unlike all your hero Leftist protesters burning down cities and peoples businesses....
