Knowing the deep sorrow...yes, you have my sympathy.

All at the same time is too much. My condolences Patrick. A neighbor went through the same thing.
Give her some ice cream and a lot of love.

The daily grind has started. Owen has to take 4 pills in the AM and 4 at night, with others as needed. He of course will not take them with his food, so we have to hold him down and shove them down his throat. I'm getting a mortar and pestle to try grinding them up and mixing them with food for as long as he will eat. If things go as they did the last time we went through this he will eventually stop eating.

I tried offering her everything to get Maddie to eat. I remember sitting on the floor with her, crying and begging her to eat.
God, I am not looking forward to going through this again.

My pup doesn't like her monthly heartworm pills, so I cut them into 1/4s and dab some peanut butter on them along with PB on a few pieces of her dry food and they all go into the bowl.... that works for me. Some meds you can't use PB with .... both of us hate shoving pills to the back of her mouth. I'm so sorry that all of y'all are having to go through this.

Best to you all.....

My GSD would eat the pills without much fuss, an older pug I had was a daily battle. I feel your pain.

Man that is a tough run of luck with your dogs.
Sorry to hear about your pup.

I am sorry that you are having to go through this. It is very painful to have to make the decision to end the life of our four legged friends and companions even if it is the best thing for them, doesn't make it any easier. If anything, try to take some kind of comfort in knowing that there will no longer be any suffering. Wishing you and your family Peace.

You have my empathy-been down this road a few times.

How about pill pockets? A small bucket of treat material like soft clay and you close the top.
