Tire Shaving?
Any experience with shaving tires? I understand that it can countermand heavy negative camber and also improve tire longevity for track use by avoiding tread blocks chunking.
If so, where do you get it done? (I hope nobody uses their Norelco ![]()

I used to do it when I raced saloons in the 1990s. Stopped thread chunking. Used to shave about 2/3 off a new tire. A pain in the arse, wasteful and expensive. That’s motorsport for you.

Indeed, joke's on me. Saw the "Tired of Shaving" thread and thought I'd make a pun thread. Alas it turns out that said "Tired of Shaving" thread was the pun thread.
That's what I get for not staying up-to-date on PPOT Moderators, feel free to delete this thread
