Tired of Shaving ?

Always used a straight edge or disposable razor.
Last week bought a Norelco triple head electric....they have certainly improved them over the years.

$44 and no shaving cream required.

If you buy the right one...you can get a sideburn trimmer included with the Norelco.
It works great.

Last time I tried one was...20ish years ago when I was still in the Army (God, I'm getting old!). Didn't work worth a crap on my stubble (specifically the neck). Maybe I'll give one another shot one of these days but at this point, I only shave when I feel like it, anyway, so usually have to use clippers to knock it down low enough to then use my razor.

^^^ That's exactly the type these razors are aiming at...."I only shave when I feel like it"
They are not the best for a super close shave for the office.

They work great and you only need to shake it over a wastebasket to rid the hairs.

I used to prefer the Braun to Norelco, but lately this is my goto:

Philips OneBlade360.

When I hear the name Norelco I always am reminded of Santa riding one through the snow

Agree Braun and I've had a few razors of both brands.
Recently had to buy a Braun replacement blade cartridge and it was $80.
Seems expensive.

When the electric razor blade fails it's normally the screen mesh that touches your beard that fails and start scratching up your face.

I tried wired electric razor that looked like that (think it was a Norelco) many, years ago, probably 30. My dad used one. I don't like them. I have experimented with disposable razors (usually with the handle that you keep and refill blades) until I find one that I like and then I stick with it. I find that some blades have a tendency to cut more easily than others. Maybe it's technique.

These days, if I let it get too long, I'll use clippers. I may just use the clippers, or I might use clippers and then one of the disposables.

I bought one just like that or similar a couple months ago. It seems to miss a lot of hairs on my neck, but the face is OK. It also doesn't shave as close as a razor. That said, it's OK for a quick shave.

Dunno, I thought this was going to be a thread about beards.

Never met a electric shaver I liked but been putting off shaving for weeks so doing the back and forth thing and using a Conair that knocks my Grizzy Adams down to Adam Ant facial hair.

As rocket said...they are great for a quick shave.
A straight razor or disposable will do a much better job.

Sometimes a 2 minute clean-up with the electric is just perfect. I sometimes have a hard time with using a straight edge just below my lower lip. Some stragglers want to grow too high and the electric shaver takes them off in a couple seconds...instead of trying not to slice my lip open.

Old skool for me. As Floyd Lawson used to say on the Andy Griffith Show: I love to hear the brush hitting the side of the cup.
