two new furkids

Youngest daughter spent the night with a friend, who's grandmother is fostering some kittens.

After daughter convinced wife (easy, mostly) and me (not quite as easy but easy) we discovered that little Eddies sister was kinda socially dependent on him ....

So now I've got 3 cats in the house (have had Crystal for a long time) but I still don't have a cat named Five.

Meet Eddie

and his sister Trixie

Hello Eddie.

I'm a failure at kitten fostering. I fostered a couple of kittens five years ago and the damn cats are still here. In fact one is sitting on my lap right now.

Not a foster fail, it’s a win. Five years ago, you needed them as much as they needed you. Kinda funny how that works in the universe.

Yeah, one in particular. Oh yes, he's Mr Fun. LOVES me. The other guy slightly prefers GF, but both are a lot of fun and much loved. They add a lot to the family. The dogs adore them too which is unusual for Border Terriers.

Good for you for taking them in. They'll steal your heart - then break it. But the love is worth it.

That is awesome! Glad it’s workin out. Just another example that it was “meant to be”. Look at the joy it’s bringing to the loving home. Never dismiss that “gut” feeling, it just could, save your mental life.

Bravo and congratulations!!!! Keep the pics comin.

First pic is just after we got these brothers. Were rescued when they were less than a day old. Second pic is more recent.

The blonde one, Ferdinand Porsche, we think is part or mostly maine coon.

Danger Will Robinson!, danger!, danger!

You do realize posting such pics is the gateway drug that leads to more cuteness, and more fur babies?

Just sayin

Bonded pairs is the only way to go, includes senior Kit Kats, when adopting from a local shelter
