Holy crap just saw this movie/doc tonight and it’s so well done, unreal if you don’t know the story. As a Canadian I remember his death (and that accident) very well..

Thanks for the tip! Is this on streaming somewhere or what? I still remember watching the GP when Gilles had been killed. Shocking. Can't remember if they televised qualifying back then or if they just kept showing the accident during the race. I was living in an area of Michigan where we got a bunch of Canadian channels on cable and they broadcast all the F1 races on CBC. It was next to impossible to follow F1 on American TV back then.
