rant....how bad can it get????
 

i've been having the ****tiest couple weeks i can remember in a long time...........

911 gets smashed...........
rental is a grand am..........
won't have the 911 back until the end of july.......
old cell phone died (which is also my "home" phone).....shelled out $100 for a new one......
today i talk to the insurance company and i have been found at fault "barely"......(because of where my car was positioned on the road). so the rental car goes back next week since i'll be at my rental limit.......
THEN working on a classic caddy today i was in the trunk and had set my new cell phone on the trunk ledge so i wouldn't crush it moving around with it in my pocket......
then i get out of the trunk and shut it.....CRUNCH....... :rolleyes:
so ANOTHER $100 and i now have ANOTHER new phone.........
after the phone was crunched i proceeded to make sure it was dead by using my makita drill....the band saw.....a few screws........a hammer and lastly my foot :D

when does it all end??????

the ONLY good news i've had is the insurance is covering the cost to refinish my 2 drivers side wheels so they will match the 2 new ones on the right..........

i need a beer...........

Dude that is the worst. I've ended up with those as rentals. I can't help to think of the image they project. It's the 'I have a car that is trying to look sporty. . .but is really a dog' image.

I feel for ya .. .It really compounds the agony, when bad shi. . stuff happens to all pile-up at once.

Take a deep breath, tell yourself "this too shall pass", and do everything carefully and deliberately for a few days. Things will soon get back to normal - like, around the end of July.

When I was in school, one of my classmates got in five fender-benders in 3 months. The first was her fault, the next couple were total unavoidables, and then she was so shaky and twitchy she started having accidents right and left. Dunno if she crunched any GrandAms.

Things have not been pretty for me for the past 3 years...moving here and being sold a defective house...has been crushing emotionalily...to the point the only thing I can say that is good is that I still have my health...
