Mercedes lighting question?

Driver side blinker is non functional. No schematic in the fuse box, no warning on the dash. My luck I take assembly apart and it's the other. Or should replace the bulbs in pairs?

I would buy two bulbs but replace the non functional one only and see what happens.

- I really hope you don't have an issue with the computer that controls the lighting in your car!

Make sure you get correct wattage for turn signals, do not buy low current (wattage) bulbs.

Do both sides.

Honda/Accord fuel pump status??

Yep... "Made in Germany" (Most of your SUV, not the bulb.)

Meanwhile I got a quote for one of these locally. S580 L 4MATIC Saloon with DPS AMG line (V8 twin turbo).

- $362,782.25 AUD Delivered. Ummmm I think I'll be keeping my W140 S420 for now!

Maybe they have different models for your market but even the most expensive Maybach here is $220k list, so ~$330k Australian at current exchange rates. An S580 is ~$120k here. Crazy prices there.

Yep and $62,524.92 Aud of $362,782.25 AUD is our "Luxury car tax (LCT)". That tax was introduced to help protect the local car manufactures back in the 70s. Meanwhile the local Ford, GM, Mitsubishi and Toyota factories are now closed. All of our cars are now imported into Australia so do you think our Government will ever remove the "Luxury car tax (LCT)"? I'm going with... NO.

Photo of the actual quote.

Got a schematic? Maybe the blinker relay? I'm confused now...some driver side blinkers work, or none?

No schematic. But I would assume any relay would power both of them.

“Assumption is the mother of all fk-ups.”

My 1975 MGB has one relay for the blinkers and one for the hazard flashers. Illogical but there it is.

At this point I'd get the car scanned. Yep they'll charge you but at least you'd know what's wrong.
