Prime Day Deals

Ends tonight at midnight.
Just ordered their new Fire Max 11 Tablet. $149 for today and $229 starting tomorrow.

I've had a few diff generations of their tablets and each one gets better. The reviews on this one are very good.

I ordered a 3d scanner, lever-nuts, HDMI cables and some parts to update my plastic printers like silent motherboards.

I need a bedroom TV, max 50". And the newer TCL's are minimum 55" now.

TCL has also switched from Roku to Fire TV. I would prefer Roku, but they are less common all of a sudden. I hate TV shopping, every TV seems to have at least one big flaw for me....

Other Kindle Fires you can backdoor load Google Play. I have it installed on my 11th gen. Kindle Fire 10. It is my understanding you cannot load Google Play on the Max 11 as stated in the Amazon description., it is totally blocked. That is a deal killer for me if true!

I have no reason to want to add Google Play...so it doesn't matter to me.

I spent about an hour reading reviews of the Max 11 today and there were various users that said they used a side-door method to load it. Unless I read it wrong...it's doable.
The link in the first post has the user reviews.

Here I am, thinking "prime day" is the Monday after Thanksgiving

I am not a shopper. My office manager is an ebay magnate

$70 for some needlepoint kit she bought for a dime a pound at a thrift store.

I use my 10" Kindle Fire for watching Netflix and podcasts outdoors in the summer on my deck.
It's handy because it's so light and easy to use....does everything a laptop can do.

I especially like the voice to text feature for emails and web site forums.

I bought a flashlight that is supposed to be 20k lumens, but I doubt it. And ordered a mesh wifi 6 system for my home.

If I didn't already have one, I'd grab a Technivorm Moccamaster.

^^^ I'm sure it's a lot better than my 4 cup Mr Coffee.

It's 27% off for the sale....but it's huge and I don't have the counter space to spare.

This is the one I have and it doesn't have a big footprint at all.

The one I looked at, the 79312, is 16" tall. Combine that with needing more space above that for preparing it...I don't have the room.
Older kitchen here...common with them.
