Yes stunning. I really enjoyed the first movie! This series is certainly a whole lot better than the 80s effort although that did have some good moments!

That director - pretty certain I recall foreign (maybe french name?) - anyway - he had never ever read the book!

I vividly remember the build-up/ hype for the 1984 Dune movie. Two of my friends and myself bought tickets for the premiere screening at the local cinema.

We walked out shaking our heads and wondering what the hell we had just seen.
We still joke about the movie....it was that bad.
