Hmmm, lots of unanswered questions and the young lady, Ms Russell, needs to answer them.

Following, I was hoping it wasn’t a scam then saw the video of her “stopping”, then I was suspicious. Police gave all their evidence today, and it seems like the girl (or her family) don’t want to talk anymore…

Local channel 2 news here in Dahlonega Georgia is giving updates on this story . My wife and I are watching this morning and they just showed an update from Alabama officials . It sure looks like this woman has some mental issues . Her phone activity sure looks like she was interested in staging a scenario just like what happened .

I saw a story yesterday that said highway cameras picked up her car off the shoulder of 459 but no evidence of a child walking along the highway. Also no other reports of such from motorists. Lots of holes in the story for sure.

She's a mental case looking for attention . She can get attention in jail for faking a criminal act . Then a bill for all the wasted effort by law enforcement .

I hope she does some time behind bars and is heavily fined for what she did. She wasted a lot of people's time and money pulling that little stunt. "She asks for forgiveness and prayers"??? Screw that little brat!!!

What seems very odd is the chief of police in Hoover reading the statement from her attorney - rather than the attorney him/herself releasing it - along with their name.

I mean if you are going to have a presser about it - shouldn't the lawyer be there too?

Every time I've seen coverage of this story on national or local news since her story fell apart, I keep wondering why the photos shown are "glamor" oriented.

Why not a mugshot instead? Is that ever going to happen?
