It would appear all sorts of tools are available to fill your nostril clearing toolbox.
The no nick appliance. Evidently it agitates at the push of a button.  I find this one disturbing as it involves sucking and a second person to do the heavy lifting.  I think Ronco had marketed one along side the Pocket Fisherman and Ginsu knives.  Strange vacuum powered attachments remind me of Mighty-Vac brake bleeders for sucking pesky boogers from nasal hangers.

Many years ago I was driving in Berkeley with my brother in the front seat. We spotted a guy picking his nose in the next lane over to the right. My brother rolled down the window and pretended to be pounding his fist into a catcher's mitt and called out "Pick a winner for me!"
I have to commend the guy, without missing a beat, he gave us a look and flicked it at us. I saw what he was doing and slammed on the brakes. We were laughing hard at that.
