Current active users .... anyone else notice?
 

Though I use mobile view and don't see much of the info that's on a desktop view .... I notice stuff ....

Are we being envaded by bots today? Number of active users was about 500 higher than usual this morning (though it obviously fluctuates), and now it's another 500 higher .... almost double what is "normal"... give or take.

Yeah .... I know .... it's the geek in me that notices and remembers crap like this.....

Anyone else :D?

185 is "normal" for PPOT, the total active I'm seeing (via mobile) is for the whole site.... currently almost 2000, where it is normaly between 800-1200 ....

Maybe PARF is bigly popular today ;)?

Almost 1K users in the 911 tech section right now.... since I rarely use desktop mode, I don't know what is "normal" for tech ....

But that seems bogus...

I'd like to see a graph of the last 180 days on 5 min intervals.

I noticed the count was about 500 higher than usual at 8 am....

I'd pore over the total site statistics, trends, etc. too if I had the chance.... just because...

Mebbe the "extra" active users yesterday were "vash bots" .... poof ... gone!

Slightly over 500 now... back to normal... the 1500 showing yesterday at this time was not.

^^^^^ That is the PPOT count .... what I am referring to was the total site count, and as I posted after switching to desktop mode.... they were in the 911 tech forum.

Maybe a huge number of 911 users (an extra 1000) were seeking assistance at 6 am on a Monday morning ;)?

These "extra" active users have been displayed since I started this thread .... totalling around 2000 as of yesterday (3000-3500) but the past days, weren't showing in any of the forums....

And the site has been running like crappola :(?

Well .... don't know if the extra users (bots ???) have disappeared, or Pelican has fixed "something", but everything is back to normal this morning....

400+ active users right now....

Bet the forums run better too...
