300hp SeaDoo - you need one

I grew up riding under powered stand up JetSkis. Decided to get a SeaDoo.

300hp supercharged 3 cylinder...why not????

It's "limited" to 68mph. Been too much fun.

That's badass! Have fun but take care..

KFC911 08-08-2023 03:10 AM

LOL .... I used to just out pace the jet skis that would occasionally show up on my "fishin' lake", and want to play in my wake .... my bass boat would do 70+ on a smooth lake....

Now what :D?

Looks like a lot of fun!
Are you able to ride it right up into it's docking pad?

Yep, it has rollers and gets up there fairly easy

This seems extreme, and incredibly awesome.

I had a supercharged SeeDoo in 2004/5 but I think it was around 200hp. It was damn fast, but my back couldn't take the pounding.

Kenny Powers approves of your 300 hp JetSki

price point for 300 hp?

911 Rod 08-08-2023 09:16 AM

The speed is governed by GPS.
You can flash it so it goes another 5 mph.
Gotta break 70!!

KFC911 08-08-2023 09:29 AM

Put a Steve Wong chip in that sucker and it'll probably do 90....

Easy :D

....I won't be on it tho' ;)

Rusty Heap 08-08-2023 10:32 AM

what's the point of 300 hp if you can't break 65? GPS limited? oh my gawd.

I guess you can tow a water skier or tubes around with it?

stevej37 08-08-2023 10:39 AM

I've never driven one....but I was watching some guys showing off with theirs in FMB Florida last week.
Amazing acceleration and they were making u-turns that were incredible. From top speed in one direction to the same in the opposite direction without any trouble.

Those things are a BLAST. Turns like Steve said. Basically, you can get them to turn 180 degrees with the nose underwater. Go in, then come out in the other direction.

On the water, 68 mph feels like 150.

It's like a pair of handlebars on a outboard motor.

wilnj 08-08-2023 12:15 PM

I don’t get it.

I have an appreciation for almost anything with some engineered form of propulsion be it cars of every stripe ICE and electric, all sorts of trucks, sail and power boats, airplanes, motorcycles but I don’t get PWC and for that matter, their winter cousins the snowmobiles.

I’ve never been able to put a finger on it but I don’t get it.

That’s the fishing version right?!

There is a YouTube lady that catches awesome fish off one. Sailfish etc.

I’d get one if I lived in Florida. Here, I’d need a trolling motor.

True, unless you hit the wake of one doing the same thing, but coming at you, then you go flying..

Yep... I went 73 (maxed out) in my bass boat one 6am morning, and 140 (had 10 more in her) in my '87 Supra Turbo in the middle of the Okefenokee Swamp before I backed off.... thinking .... I really shouldn't be doing this :).

A floating submerged log or a big ol' gator sunning (there were hundreds) in the road would have ruined my day for sure.

300 hp ..... pass.
