We have weird weather here

in Half Moon Bay, CA. The high temp yesterday was 67 degrees, ending a record run of over 190 consecutive days of highs below 65. The last time we were above 65 degrees was January 28th.

What is the winter like?

Also, I had friends move from Camarillo to more inland because they got tired of chilly foggy days. I guess the grass is always greener somewhere else. I might like that fog.

Warmer than summer - sometimes. It just rains instead of fog drizzle.

I'd say "trade ya" but I think if we had weather where 65º was the high, we'd all be freezing.

Not sure I understand the above. I lived in SF west side avenues for years a few decades ago. Cold and foggy and breezy and sandy were normal. A few nights the view distance was a few hundred yards. About 50 feet one night. The Twin Peaks divided the city between freezing and boiling. There's nothing more bone-chilling than a 50-55deg night there. Here in Mich that would be welcomed shorts and t-shirt weather.

You have a perpetual breeze coming off the sea, moderating your temperatures, not so wierd

Not a bad spot, I like the ocean. Good place to escape the heat of the valley. I know a guy retired up in Jenner. North of Bodega Bay, I think, near there anyway, probably a little cooler than you, but not much. You want to tape the wrist and ankles of your wet suit and pour some warm water in there before you go looking for abalone, or surfing. That water is cold
