For the hot pepper beer fans...
Founders released a Mango Ale with Habanero Peppers.
10% ABV....it's very good, and I'm not a pepper fan. ![]() ![]()

Didn't know there was such a thing. But I guess beer has been brewed with everything but chocolate syrup and I'm not sure about that.

Mango is one of my fav flavors and I picked it up for that reason. When I went to open one, I saw that it also had habanero peppers in it.
I was thinking..Oh no!.....but it's actually very good tasting.

i wanted this to be a hot dr pepper thread.
if you have never tried hot dr pepper ... its an amazing creation of the 1970s, when they noticed that in the winter months they sold less dr pepper, in favor of hot drinks like tea and hot chocolate. so the marketing geniuses at dr pepper made hot dr pepper ... and TBH ... its amazing. little hot dr pepper, and some lemon juice, very good. |

spicy and high ABV beers are two of my favorite things to consume, but I choose to keep them separate
Similar to George Costanza trying to mix Sex and Pastrami sandwich eating, both great fun but better enjoyed seperately for me anyways

Being in Texas, I doubt you would find this beer for sale down there anyway. The first time I've ever seen it was Tues. and I live less than an hour from the Founders Brewery.

I prefer my beer to taste like a strawberry milkshake .... just like my coffee!
Some things just need to be left alone in their natural state .... for me ![]() I like beer, mangos, and hot peppers tho'.... |

I really liked the pickle-beer that came out a few summers ago. Sort of an herbaceous geuze/gose (mildly salty and tangy - almost like one of the canned cheladas). Aaaand now I'm off for a virgin clamato-mary with tajin on the glass...
I'm doing homemade fresno pepper, salt and grapefruit NA seltzer. Refreshing! In the spirit of shrub cocktails a balsamic vin/homegrown currant seltzer is next. In this land of chile, the green chile beers are very much a "meh" for me. Maybe an ancho-stout however...

At 70 years old, I'm prob past the man-bun stage.
(Although my 75 year old brother in law has a one foot ponytail.)

I still have a full head of hair, but I would rather get one of these...a clip-on man bun.

I'm guessing it's a pretty small club of folks.

The man-buns? I see them often at the bars. It started getting popular here at covid time.

Man buns were huge here a while back. I'm not sure if they are still as big a thing or not. I think they may already be on the decline like dudes in skinny jeans, thank goodness.
