Hah! So I did. I remembered seeing it before, but didn't remember that I saw it first here.

Lol, BTDT, my memory is pretty short too.

Still, that guy knows how to move.
I can watch that for hours, well maybe not hours, but it is very enjoyable.

I'm generally not too fond of Electro Swing, but I do like Cissie Redgwick's Gimme That Swing.

But I prefer regular swing or modern music if I want to do some sort of swing fusion dance.

I also find partner dancing far more satisfying than solo jamming.

Very cool, thx. I've always, since I was a little kid thought that tap was cool. Maybe it's the fact that you're dancing and making music at the same time.

a little different

Tap is flippin' HARD. I just started incorporating it into my solo jazz stuff and it is difficult. But then again, so is Sliding, but in a different way.

I don't know. The thing I love about dance is the conversation between you and your partner (and the band, if you're dancing to live music). You're all improvising on the spot and making art.

It's a wonderful feeling when it all comes together.

I also love watching contemporary, which is as demanding as ballet, imho.

I've been watching So You Think You Can Dance long before I ever set foot on a dance floor.

And here's Lil Buck performing some Jookin / Ballet / Sliding fusion.

Wow, they are good. Lil Buck is good too.

I've always enjoyed dancing (although I haven't done it in years) and have enjoyed watching good dancers.

For me, I really respond to watching someone dance who makes it look natural and flowing, like Lil Buck and Stephen and Chandrae above. Sometimes you see dancers that have the choreography down, and pull it off and do it well, but it looks like they've memorized the moves, but it's just not quite natural looking. I usually feel like that's the difference between a good dancer and a great dancer, but then if you take a great dancer, and have then dance in a style that they aren't used to, they display a similar look.

To sit through that movie you must be from 15-18 and have consumed at least a dangerously toxic amount of weed.

Fred and Ginger did things that blow people's minds to this day.

In a totally different genre, this is amazing

Very cool. I love to watch that sort of thing. I wish I could do it, but it probably takes more work than I would have been willing to put in.

Kind of reminds me of this guy.

And since the above has been posted before, here's something by him that's newer with more contortionist stuff mixed in. It's good to see this guy getting work. On top of being a good dancer, he's also very entertaining.
