how come new users like my self are not able to post on the tech forum?

Bumping this to the top.... I don't see the "report" button on mobile ....

You should be able to. There has been a LOT of unusual "active users" stuff going on lately.... either due to bots or a site "glitch" that ceased a few days ago.... might have something to do with it... I dunno.

Maybe a mod (Paul) can assist....

It's been a while since I was "new" and I also haven't posted in the 911 or Boxster Tech boards in a while. It seems possible that you could be required to reply to a couple/few messages before you can create your own post in an effort to reduce the amount of SPAM. I know that there was a limitation like that before you could post in the Classifieds sections. I would not expect that to be in the tech boards.

AlpineFD was definitely able to respond to a post in the 911 tech board.

I think this is it. To the op, if you need to start a thread about something and it wont let you, maybe mention it here and a thread will happen
