I just cancelled my You Tube TV subscription. Wasn't that hard. Did it on my desktop through their website. Painless.

I never changed anything else, so am expecting everything to be back to normal as soon as ESPN shows back up on my Spectrum cable account. So far it hasn't.

Lot of time left before I need it back. :)

I thought YT TV was OK but too many button pushing to get where I wanted to go - same issue I've always had with streaming.

We'll see what happens......

Can confirm all affected channels are back on Spectrum now.....

I got YT TV over the weekend and thought it was pretty good. There are some hitches as you describe. Also, last night just for giggles and as a test I recorded 3 Masterpiece Theater shows on PBS on YT TV. Process was painless, however, the video quality was not so good. Since they also recorded on my Spectrum DVR, I went back and looked to compare. The Spectrum video was much better.

We were all set to tell Spectrum to pound sand. This complicates things.

No it doesn't.

Cancel your YT TV and go back to where you were.

Obviously it's your choice, which I will respect, either way.

I never gave much thought about cancelling anything because I wanted to see how things played out.

I did give some thought about cancelling my ESPN+ streaming this morning, but since I pay monthly, it decided I had more time to decide.

Turns out my intuition to "wait it out" paid dividends.

Now we'll see what happens with any rate hikes...

One of the main things that keeps me with cable is the ability to change channels. Saturday at one point I was watching a couple of college football games and wanted to watch US Open women's final. Cable that is easy. Not so much on YouTube TV.

Plus I'm the guy that stays put if movement requires effort. For example, I know I can likely get better insurance rates than what I have with USAA. But getting to that point takes comparison shopping which I loathe.

All the Spectrum subscribers get credited?

Is this the $15 Joe mentioned?

Everything in recent media coverage seemed to be saying it would be Disney who blinked first... wonder if that's the way it went?

"Continuing" is misspelled. :D

I was channel surfing last night and flipped over to FXX hoping to see Atomic Blonde. Got the the same blue screen that stated something of this sort:

We no longer carry this channel following our negotiated deal with Disney. Up yours (I added that part). FXX will be available on Disney+ at a cost if you are interested.

I'd imagine there are other channels dropped as part of the deal but I didn't dig too deep. Seems like a decent trade off.

Horrible company. I've been paying for 400 mbps but only getting 90 mbps.
I just got T-Mobile 5G home internet and it's twice the speed for half the price. It's still only 200 mbps download but at least it's fast enough for two users at a time.

Spectrum chick stopped me in the Walmart the other day. Damn she was cute. I still told her no way I was going back to Spectrum. Fool me once, your fault. Fool me twice, my fault is what I told her.
