Brits Are Taking Out The Nanny Cams #bladerunners
Our brothers across the pond are fed up with the growing number of traffic cameras that charge them for entering central London. By some counts upwards of 750 have mysteriously quit working...

A guy near me got locked up after being caught re-aiming all the traffic cams...
He had a large extendable pole he would use to change the cameras view... unfortunately he was caught.. Local Hero...

Years ago now, but I did have a laugh when I read a news article about South Africans shooting out the cameras.
The authorities weren't concerned about guns being used, they were just concerned about the cost. I know speed cameras are particularly expensive. |

My city installed a bunch of red light cameras (and supposedly tweaked yellow light timers).
The following year, we voted those cameras to all be removed. City lost a ton. Gob bless America. |

I do love the "civil disobedience" aspect of this "rebellion".
Of course, that includes doing the time if you do the crime...
