Ceiling fan help

Hi!

I have a bunch of Minka Aire fans at home. One stopped working, checked breaker (not tripped) but reset it anyway. Re did remote programing.

It wont turn on.

Are there fuses inside of ceiling fans?

It has no light thus I cannot use that to gauge electricity.

After typing this, I'm going to get the voltmeter and test for power at the wall switch. Light fixtures surrounding are powered up and i assume the electrician put the fixtures and fan in the same circuit.

THOUGHTS?

Odds are you have no power to the fan. There is the possibility of a failed control module. A replacement is about $20 on Amazon with a new remote.

Get a voltage probe, they make life easy.

Checking power is a first but often enough I find that a wire under a wire nut has slipped. So if you poll the canopy down tug on each wire. Careful, it could be hot so if you know where that breaker if for sure, use it.

Thanks guys. Switch has power, power goes into the mains at the canopy.

I figure must be the remote receiver. I tried reprogramming the receiver also with no luck

THANKS for taking the time to assist!
