Lift the ban on ICE vehicles in CA. Yep, let us make that choice. I sure hope this isn't fake news. Even if it passes, the nut jobs will veto it

I suspect once California hits the reality of a higher percentage of electric cars sucking on the overloaded near collapsing electric grid reality will slap them in the face. Gasoline is a wonderful and very powerful source of energy, and so very easy to fill a tank in minutes and continue on. Electric cars are perfect for commuting in a metro area, but electric has limits.

Hybrid just seems to be the best choice for both scenarios.

Exxon just bought Pioneer Oil for $69B.
They now own the largest chunk of the Texas Permian Basin.
This tells me that getting more US land based oil in the refineries is on the plate.
