Her music lives on in the next, next generation. I tell ya, this women does a amazing job. I have been listenning to her music for about 7-8 years now.

Despite having hippie parents in the 1970s, they never listened to Joni, and I was oblivious. At some point in early 90s, I was listening to the radio, and The Hissing of Summer Lawns came on. I was mesmerized.

A pretty good cover but not Joni. Listen to Joni's high notes and clarity. Also note the sustained vocal at the ending.

Court & Spark gets a fair amount of morning play on road trips. I find it a relaxing way to start the day before switching to more frenetic tunes as the day progresses. One of the talents of my generation and am glad that younger folks are discovering her music.
Carole King is another morning listen.

I'm following Geranne Tuyp on YouTube now. Imagine what she could sound like in a studio with some professional accompaniment. She seems to have what it takes to succeed.

That first link was great! Haven’t looked at the others yet.
When you play around in an alternate tuning, the sounds are unique and amazing. Almost like an alternate universe.
