What does it mean...

When I'm getting an error message, supposedly from Microsoft that says this:

The request is blocked.

One of my 'things' I like to do in the mornings is look at the Goodwill auction site (I can't afford the other one) for bargains on cameras and trains.
I keep getting that message lately.
Is their site down or is it something else causing this?

One of my latest finds is this locomotive.

I think it means your wife is tired of you buying cameras and trains.

Seriously, scan your PC for malware. This error occurs when websites try protecting against DDoS attacks and other security threats.

I'm using Windows Defender and it says there's no problems. It scanned my computer at 6:47AM today and it's up to date security wise, their claim not mine.

????

Oh, and she's already put the brakes on my buying any more trains, unless she wants to add a car to her train.
Camera's are another discussion, but I'm pretty set now with the ones I have.

Could somebody check to see if shopgoodwill.com is actually working?
I couldn't get on to the site the day of the time change either.
I was thinking maybe they had a problem with the time change.

Just now tried...opened up immediately
I also use Windows Defender.

I just downloaded Malwarebytes free edition and ran a scan. Nothing found.

Are there any other devices on your network sharing your hard drives?

Go to the search bar, and type in sharing. Make sure all sharing is off.

Opened up right away on my iPad 2, but since the iPad is getting out of date, this website like many others isn’t fully functional. It just shows it searching for items, but doesn’t display them. So I won’t be buying any trains out from under you today!

It was displayed in the firefox window/tab that I had opened to go to the site on.

All sharing is off and has been for some time now as it's never been turned on by me.

Thanks Rutager!

OK, I tried a little experiment this morning.
Used CCleaner to remove all my cookies and junk etc.

The site opened up just fine after doing that.

This afternoon after grilling the salmon we're having for dinner tonight I tried to get back on it. Request denied message came up again.

So, I used CCleaner to delete my cookies again, and now I can get back on the site.

What is the significance of that happening?

Does that mean any cookies they're sending me have some code in them that says I'm an unwanted intruder or something?

Try it again now- I'm finished. Three locomotives showed up on my doorstep today, though.
