What would you do with 170 aluminum rotor hats?

Looking for bright ideas here.

Years ago I got a bunch of old Stasis braking hats, brackets, rotors, calipers, etc.. from a fire sale.

I've since sold most of it off, but I'm still sitting on around 170 aluminum brake hats that I just don't feel like storing any more. We sell a couple a year - but that means I have a 50 year supply.

I'm thinking of just taking them to a scrap yard, but seems like such a waste. Any bright ideas?

$29ea already felt like a fire sale.

I'm going to hit up a few Audi forums and try and sell them in lots of 10-20 for pennies on the dollar I guess. I'd get $0.50-$0.70/lb at the scrap yard. Thats around $150-200 I think.

Market them as "dangerous frisbees?"

The first question is, what is the scrap value per piece, and how much effort is it to sell them off in a fire sell. The nice thing about the scrap dealer is you get cash, and the parts are gone.

Somewhere in there are the numbers you need to think about it. Is it worth your time to sell them at $10 if the scrap value is $5.

Or stamp them into tinfoil hats and advertise on PARF....
