Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

964. The most useable evolution of the 911 that still looks like a 911, with ABS and a working AC. Add sport seats, perfect combination

I enjoyed this car and all its 112hp, long before the Drift craze.

Owned two different generation Tundras and regret letting them go. Way behind on tech and luxuries but just so damned competent otherwise. The new generation is just...well i won't say it here.

My 62 TR4 was the most fun car to drive. Skin and bones feeling.

I would love to have my 74 914 2.0 back. I think. I need a third old car to take care of like I need a pack of dogs. I likely would not drive it enough, and it handled great, but a 100 HP car is slow and no AC and I have no good place to store it.
So yea, it would be cool to have it back, and a fun autocross car, the storage alone would make it an expensive item to have. I could buy an old Boxster S for less money, and still have the same problems of storage and maintenance.

Pretty ordinary, but I miss my '95 Infiniti G20t. Not a lot of power, but great engine in a great chassis, lots of fun to drive and very reliable.

Corvair Corsa. I’ve always wondered why they only had 2 carbs on a 6 cylinder engine. Or the Turbo and add an IC.

Wish I never sold my '89 Prelude, what a great car. This was in the day before Acura came along so the Prelude was sort of Honda's flagship model. Very well built and nicely screwed together. Not my car but looked just like it.

I had a couple C5Z vettes like this one.
I'd consider a C6Z vette just for the 505hp. ![]() ![]()

I look for Prelude Si's and CRX Si's all the time on FBMP. Hard to find decent cars. I am sure it would pay to buy one in CA and have it shipped or drive across country. Had an 89 CRX Si that I loved.

I still toy around with getting another Datsun Z… I’ve had four of them through my high school age years, but then I realize that they are just a nostalgia thing as my daughters Kia Forte will out perform it in every facet!

'66 Olds F85 Deluxe. 320hp. White w/red interior. Would probably change the rear end as the one-wheel peel was very lame. A real highway cruiser.
Also, would need my ol' HS girlfriend, Party Hearty Patty, at least for one night. The night we made the decision to break up and go to separate colleges, rather than taking off for NYC to start a punk/glam band. Blew up the Olds (literally), never saw Patty again, and haven't picked up a bass since 1977. Shid happens, and then you die. |
