The rules of fair play?

GF came around to my place last night with pizzas. Excellent.

But there is one pizza in the fridge right now. Just sitting there. all on it's own.

Is it fair play to just eat it? Or should I phone her and ask "How is the gardening project going? Oh that's so interesting. And by the way, there is a pizza in the fridge, what shall we do with it?"

john70t 11-11-2023 10:48 AM

This is a test which you do not want to fail.

Seahawk 11-11-2023 10:53 AM

Is there Pineapple on the pizza?

Steve Carlton 11-11-2023 11:06 AM

It's a test.

Worse. It's a trap.

Works both ways though. Eat it. If she freaks out dump her and move on.

Lol, it's not a test. Eat the pizza. No woman yearns to hear, "Come over. I have cold left over pizza."
Now, wine? We'll come over for that. That sounds romantic.

No way she is that bizarre. She brought it over to make sure you had enough.

I hope to God it has pineapple on it.

Need green font much?

sc_rufctr 11-11-2023 01:32 PM

If it's in my fridge it's mine so I'd eat it (my GF doesn't live with me but she has a bed side table assigned to her :D).

Bill Douglas 11-11-2023 01:38 PM

I called her and then causally mentioned the pizza late in the conversation. She said "That's for you." so I needed have worried but thanks for your good advice and looking after my well being haha.

And it turned out it wasn't a trap AND didn't have pineapple LOL

It sure was good. Just a Domino's chicken cranberry and brie with creme fraiche sauce. But I'd give it full marks!

wtf?

Shaun @ Tru6 11-11-2023 02:08 PM

Wait a second. First you say you have pizza in the fridge.

Then we learn you have something from Domino's in the fridge.

And then there's a chicken, something something something in the fridge.

So did you ever really have pizza in the fridge?

"It sure was good. Just a Domino's chicken cranberry and brie with creme fraiche sauce."

Two thoughts.

Based on the description of the "pizza", she’s not that into you.

If there was a test I think she was hoping that you would not eat it.

Horse Pucky

I'd eat that in a heartbeat.

It's not duck vaginas and ear wax buried under limburger.

Pussies!

Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit! I googled, and there is such a pizza down under.
Okay, it's camambert, not brie. We all been know that makes all the difference, haha.

You guys are just jealous. Leaving pizza means true love. "Quite like you." means bringing pizza around "True love means bringing pizza around and leaving one for you."

Yep, Capt' it did look like the one you posted but that one is with the mild chilli sauce. Me being the most descerning customer of Domino's pizzas I have the creme fraiche sauce instead LOL

Others with different toppings should be called flatbreads or something

Shaun @ Tru6 11-11-2023 05:26 PM

I've only been to New Zealand once, it was 2004, hiked the Rees-Dart track, to this day in the top 5 of life experiences, and Wellington Beach where I was hoping to surf but no waves. Anyway, the entire time I was there one thought was constant, I hope U.S. culture never infects New Zealand.

Hopes

Dashed.

And with Domino's no less. Forget about building a wall on the southern border to keep illegal immigrants out. There should be a multi-dimensional wall around the U.S. keeping our putrid culture in.

France in '19 and England last summer was reassuring at least though I did see a few fat Americans lined up at Five Guys burger shop in Paris. it was hard not to abuse them.

Bill Douglas 11-11-2023 07:18 PM

Haha that's funny Shaun. My mother said as a little boy I was terribly disappointed to find out New Zealand wasn't part of Long Island (Archie comics) and was yet to find out New Zealand wasn't even part of America. I had Walt Disney comics long before I could read.

Oh... That does look good pizza Tim. I can make my own good ones. I have an Ooni pizza oven. But a lot can be said for drinking too much then someone has the idea of getting already made pizzas.

masraum 11-12-2023 07:43 AM

Good pizza is great.
Bad pizza is still pretty good.

OK, that's not entirely true. I've had some pizza that I wouldn't eat if it was free, but while I do love the classics, I'm also game for new and crazy. I'd try the pizza listed by bill. I'll eat pizza with chicken and bbq sauce. I'll even eat pizza with pineapple and ham on it!

You guys that are pizza snobs are robbing yourselves.

It all ended well. Darn.

Bill could have dehydrated a few slices until rock solid and poly coated them.
Then, when that "I remember when you used to care..." conversation eventually happens, he could bring it out and said "I was waiting so long for you to come back and help me finish it, but you never showed up."
(either way, she would be creeped out enough to disappear)

You think that would work with a Hawaiian pizza?

Perfect opportunity to say "Hey, you want to get some pizza and f**k?"

If the answer is "No," the response is "What, you don't like pizza?"

Bill Douglas 11-12-2023 05:09 PM

That's funny Steve.

Pizza, day two, is excellent after a quick blast in the air fryer.

stevej37 11-12-2023 05:24 PM

That pizza needs some lima beans...lol

HobieMarty 11-12-2023 05:36 PM

"Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit!"

Hmmm, well, that sounds yummy!!! Forget the pizza, I'll bring the honey to drizzle all over that "biscuit" and dive right in!!!! [emoji846][emoji39]

Does she reach across the car and unlock the door for you after you get her seated?

Central locking, so she doesn't need to. But I remember in the past it fair pissed me off if some chick sat there like a dumbo instead of making a minor effort.
