I find it amusing that the website is still twitter.com, so that branding will never go away. I mean, obviously x.com is likely something else entirely (I didn't check!). Who really cares anyway? Not me....I'm trying to spend less time online these days and I quite like it!

I joined X after Musk took over and the fact checking is pretty good now. They don't chase everything, but certainly stuff that looks odd usually has a fact check after it.

I have no issue with how X is running at this point...for what it is, its pretty good, pretty open and minimal restrictions.,

It's not perfect but way better than the left wing echo chamber it was when Jack Dorsey was running it.

You can get news and information in "real time", yeah you might need to do a bit of fact checking on your own to weed out misinformation but that should be SOP with anything you see from MSM and internet sources.

I think the changes Elon made have been a thorn in the side of those that would like to have full control of what gets fed to the masses. Much of what you see in current events evolving today and the populace "waking up" is due to those changes.

I need some sort of social media. Facebook is run by sociopaths. Tic toc is run by literal communists. None of the others have gained much traction. So I’m trying twitter again.
