Thanx to everyone for the information and input.
For sure in most cases, one is not going run their house at full electrical throttle.
All things would have to be considered.
IDK if I will ever go off-grid, but up in here, it is to be prepared for a few days without.
If not, one can be without everything for a while.
I dont like doing things wrong than right and ending up doing it all twice.
So the proper inverter at the start seems like a good idea.

Sorry I'm late to the party. That inverter is not really setup for home backup. It would need something to recharge the batteries and a transfer switch. And it is not UL tested/approved.

You'd be better off with a Samlex system. They included the internal transfer switch.

Or a Sol-Ark system. This is the one to buy because it integrates solar charge controllers if you plan to use solar as well.

Any of these systems will allow you to integrate a generator along with the battery system.
