You have minimal electric field from 120 VAC, and minimal magnetic field from maybe 5 Amps? If the magnetic fields caused cancer most welders would be dead...electric fields? They don't worry me either. I've spent a lot of my life in close proximity to 600 VAC with no evidence of cancer yet.
