I'm in the market for new non-stick frying pans.....your recommendations?

I know, I know! I'm simply beside myself...in pure heavenly bliss....just can't wait....WEEEEEEEE!!

We're about to move in to our new cabin and will be shipping the older shyttier kitchen stuff out there from our home in Calgary. The first thing heading out there will be our frying pan set. We've had the Creuset line for the last 3-4 years and she no-worky dat good nomo!....There are so many choices. What's been working well for you?

They come in different sizes too. We have a larger one as well.

I'm using Henckels Capri granitium.

Costco often has the 3-pc, aluminum, Non-stick, fry pan set on sale for under $ 100.
A couple of years ago, I bought 4 sets. I liked them so much I gave them to family and friends. What makes them my favorite is the near perfect heat distribution across the entire cooking surface.

Smithey polished cast iron. while technically not non stick once seasoned they are non stick and you will never have to replace....like you will with actual non stick.

USA made and just a pleasure to cook with... https://smithey.com/collections/castiron

They had them at a vrbo in KY we stayed in over the summer. Both are cheap AF and amazingly good. The Calphalon fry pans are barely used - these work better.

This is what I'm using: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009HBKQ16/?tag=thewire06-20&linkCode=xm2&ascsubtag=AwEAAAAAAAAAAN9Q&th=1

I'm pretty happy with it. I was using a TFal nonstick, but I didn't like the shape of the bottom.

Honestly? Skip the non stick pans. They're not all that robust, and only non-stick so long. Instead, buy a decent set of stainless. Those you can use and abuse, and nothing sticks if you half way know how to cook.

Some pan coatings have PFOAs. If that's a concern you can check that out.
I found an article that tested for PFOAs and they found some pans that contained PFOAs even when advertised as not having them.

We have the smaller one - use it for eggs. They are a ridiculous bargain compared to better known names.

Nothing sticks to a stainless frying pan?
Then color me as not knowing how to cook Ii have older Calphalon multiclad stainless pans I use daily, but the frying pan is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

My Wife just switched from the above Cuisinart set to this Circulon set that she ordered from Costco Online for $129 (regular $179).

It's nice, well made and heavy duty. She liked the Cuisinart but likes her pots and pans sparkling clean (she's German).

I have the All-Clad "HA" hard anodized pans and I think they are really great for the price.

I will take one of my normal Al Clad pans that are mostly non-stick from use, polish it and hard anodize it just to see what happens.

posting in support of the good cast iron and ss pans. the only non stick cooking we do at this point is hash browns and eggs (if my wife is doing them, i still enjoy the cast iron for that and can do the SS). just about everything else goes in cast iron (smooth surface, ours is Field brand but there are others such as smithy, etc) or most frequently all clad stainless.

both require some amount of learning (cast iron less so) however once done you will up your cooking game substantially.
