I agree with the tiered system, though hard to enforce. Someone could be on the freeway but is not licensed for freeway driving, what are we going to do? Have sensors all over? There goes privacy.

Ontario has a graduating licensing. It wasn't around when I got my license in 1975.

At least on Sundays. One day per week without the noise isn't too much to ask.

In Rarotonga all the guys wear them every day all year round. I think it's the law.

Proper driving test would help. The one in the US is a joke vs (say) the UK.

How about some age/training/licensing requirements for E-bikes? We've basically unleashed 10-year old kids on the streets with motorcycles that can easily exceed the pace of traffic on many surface streets. No helmets, no knowledge of road rules, and not much common sense. Some riding with a 2nd or 3rd kid hanging on the back as well. And this'll become even more of a problem as E-bike sales continue to soar.
