Any Hess Truck Collectors?
Been dealing with this flu bug and spiraling deeper into the YouTubes and found myself down the Hess Truck rabbit hole. My Dad used to get me a Hess Truck each Christmas, consistently from 2002-2016 or there abouts. He also got himself the trucks as well and would have two of each, one for displaying and one stayed in the box. So, I have a bunch of Hess Trucks along with the collector bags and even the energizer batteries in their Hess labeled boxes. The batteries are stored separately in case of leakage issues. My first Hess Truck was the 1967 Tanker Truck that my Uncle Bill got for me when he worked at a Hess station, wish I still had that one. I've got a picture of me playing with the truck but the pic is on a CD. In 1970, my Grandparents got me the years Hess Truck for Christmas and it was the Firetruck. I remember playing with that one.
So, in my Hess Truck video watching I saw that the 1992 truck was an 18 wheeler with a racer and that "racer" looks to be a Porsche 911. I thought that was pretty cool and just wondered if any of y'all have one, I'm not looking for one, just wondered. There are several on ebay and are not too pricey. Anyway, here are some pics from a couple of random ones on ebay. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

Yes I got the 911 one when i was little and still have it! It was one of my favorite toys with the rubber wheels and lights and pull back feature it was as close to a remote control cars as i was going to get. I think the hess truck collectors are perpetually upset about the resaleability kinda like beanie babies they aint worth nothing! I have a few with decent boxes i look up occasionally to see if they are worth selling and nope. Not even worth selling id probably loose money with the price of shiping. But they were very good quality toys with all the features and lights. I always preffered toys with rubber tires. I liked metal toys better than plastic but the Hess trucks were ok.

Yeah, Dad only got the trucks for me because of how my Uncle Bill had worked at a HESS station when he was younger and he thought they would be fun to collect I guess. I was already an "adult" when he started getting them for me at Christmas on a regular basis and it was definitely something I always looked forward to receiving. They are made very well I must say. I've always liked all the lights but could do without some of the annoying sounds, but hey it is supposed to be a kids toy right?

I saw some nice looking Hess trucks on the Goodwill site and considered bidding on them. In looking into them, I could never find out how big they were so decided to pass on them. They looked like something my grandsons would like to play with.

My grandkids have received one every Christmas until they grew out of them. I'd love to have my old metal ones back.

You're welcome.

I have a 1993 Hess Premium Diesel tanker that was only given to dealers, NIB with a letter from Hess. We were heating and diesel distributors back in the day. I'm going to list it on eBay as none of my kids are interested. I've got tons of Hess trucks collecting dust.
Cheers

Not a collector, but I still have the Hess motorhome (it wasn’t called that, but it was based on the FWD GM motorhome) that my granddad gave me in the late 70s when I was little (he worked in the oil industry).

We have a bunch of them! Love the Hess Trucks.
My father-in-law worked for Hess at the end of his career and sent my son some of the vintage and some of the current trucks for Christmas.
