Later for me. 2008 I think. Started with Mint. Played with a lot of different versions of Linux for about 10 years. Finally went back to Mint. It is very easy to use. It just works.

I have played with Mint on and old computer.

The expensive software I use for aerial photos and mapping is Windows 11 Pro or higher. Not even the home version will work.

I use apple's icloud, but backup my important stuff to stick.
