Do we really need a 5-minute tutorial on using an adjustable wrench  When using adjustable tools of any kind, quality/precision is particularly important. Pay the extra $$, get the best adjustable wrench (most are horrible), and you'll be able to use it backwards, forwards, upside down or as a small hammer in a pinch.

Maybe you should watch the project farm test I linked earlier. You'd be surprised that the old USA made Craftsman won the test.

John..good way to explain it...forcing the adjustable jaw into the frame...thanks!

That video could have been 4 seconds long. JFC.

It also could have been filed under common sense.

:D I think this may beat it - 7 minutes on how to correctly use a screwdriver. The comments are comedy gold.

Crazy as it may sound, there are those who don't know even these basics. Countless stripped screw heads give evidence.

Oh goody. Maybe he's made one on how to change a light bulb. FFS. God forbid society ever "collapses". After a couple of months, when the easy pickins are gone, there wont be many left.

I always use them wrong. Iv broken a few for sure. The only one i was sad about is a little old crescent brand one it went up to 1/2" or so. It was in mint condition. It just snapped off without much force one day. I welded it back together but it just wasnt the same after that. I use them alot for larger sizes that are hard to judge and i dont feel like trying 5 sockets to get the right one. They are also good for bending things

A stripped head on its own is not evidence that a person can't use a screwdriver properly. Sometimes the required torque of a tight screw exceeds both the screwdriver's ability and screw head design.

the correct way to use a crescent wrench is a nice parabolic arc into the trash can.

what a garbage tool.
