I use clear tape and make sure not to get any overlap ridges over the barcode. I also love to get the clear packing label pouches from Fedex. Just place the label inside and peel off the back side adhesive.

The person who does the shipping then.....should be the one who does all this, right?

So he would then.....have the label(s).

Otherwise, I'm happy to make all the arrangements on my end.

I'm the one paying for the shipping here.....

You print off the shipping label and affix to your package. Then you take package to shippers location or schedule a pickup from the carrier.

OK done, using Pirate Ship.

Pretty slick.

I did all the online stuff on Pirate.....and afterwards just sent the seller 4 shared links for the 4 parcels so he could print the shipping labels on his end.

Paid with Paypal linked to my Discover card.

I selected UPS Ground, although USPS Ground Advantage was competitive.

You are given quite a few options.

Parcels should arrive in about a week.

Will update after arrival.

Total cost was $141.91 - nearly half what you'd pay retail.

This is what is being shipped:

10“ x 16“ x 9“ 23 pounds
14“ x 11“ x 14“ 20 pounds
19“ x 10“ x 10“ 17 pounds
16“ x 23“ x 12“ 22 pounds

Nice. You would have done better just taping a few of the boxes together rather than 4 seperate boxes. They take up to 150lbs i think. I ship stuff with paypal.com/shipnow maybe not the cheapest but it is discounted from retail. Big stuff ups is always the cheapest unless its really close by

I actually told the seller to divide everything into smaller boxes for ease of handling for him.

Have you ever lifted a 150 lb. box by yourself?

Used Pirate ship this afternoon to ship a 13lb box via ups. Ran $34 and should be across the country by next Thursday.

Thank you again for the recommendation!

The seller in San Francisco dropped off the 4 boxes today at his local UPS Store.

No issues whatsoever.

I received all 4 tracking numbers at the time I created the labels.

I just checked on the first one and it shows expected delivery a week from tomorrow.

I wonder if they ever check the parcels weight and/or size against what was inputted by the shipper? Not going to worry about it for now, just curious.....
