What's your PPD?

I'm currently at 2.54 posts per day and thinking I need to raise that.

I just passed 20K posts and my pay didn't raise at all. If I get the daily rate up to 3.0 will the cash increase?

Is there anyone here over 3.0?

stevej37 01-07-2024 07:51 AM

It must take 30K posts, I assume.

Rusty Heap 01-07-2024 08:47 AM

I was shocked the other day seeing a member had 45K-50K posts over 20 years. Thats 7 a day.......for 20 years...........There is this thing called Life, some people spend it in odd ways.

Skytrooper 01-07-2024 08:50 AM

I have been here 16 years and only have 1669 posts. That is a whopping 0.29 PPD. I am good with that. I will leave it up to all the blabber mouths, post and star counters to provide my entertainment. LOL

JackDidley 01-07-2024 08:58 AM

1.2 per day. True slacker, I am.

stevej37 01-07-2024 09:19 AM

I have 22 years in here, but the first 5 or so were spent almost entirely in the Tech Forum.
Hardly ever posted over there...but gained a lot of knowledge from the others.

I came here before I bought my Cayman just looking for general information. Not a lot there on the Cayman forums but I did get some laughs from OT so after a year or so I registered.

Paul T 01-07-2024 09:28 AM

I’m at 0.7 and honestly I’d like to get it lower!

What would you charge to get it down to 0.500 per day?

j/k

stevej37 01-07-2024 09:41 AM

^^^ Paul
You're eligible for a silver anniversary award.:)

(Ask for cash instead.)

Took 22 years to get 2.54....I don't want to miss the next pay level.:)

Evans, Marv 01-07-2024 10:17 AM

I'm still idling along at .94 per day.

Steve Carlton 01-07-2024 10:24 AM

I'm at 2.91 posts per day. I think I'll increase to 100 posts per day until I hit 3.0.

stevej37 01-07-2024 10:34 AM

^^^ That's the spirit.:)

How many days will that take?....(watching the Lions win right now..no time for ciphering)

You forgot, story repeaters...The biggest ones haven't even posted yet...

Bill Douglas 01-07-2024 10:48 AM

It did for me, and since I've been wearing the Pelican Parts T-shirt each day my rate has gone up by 33.3 cents per post.

stevej37 01-07-2024 10:53 AM

^^^ I have the PP badge for my SC and lots of PP stickers, but no T-shirt.
That might be my problem.

Flatbutt1 01-07-2024 11:02 AM

where is that stat?

never mind...I'm at 0.75

But that's as FB1. FB seems to have been vaporized.

click on your own user name and then statistics.

(didn't see your edit...in case anyone else is wondering how to find it)

Zeke 01-07-2024 11:34 AM

4.5 and that's less than quite a few. But I seem to land here every day to see the pics thread and if there is a new post in the death thread. In fact, news hits PPOT faster than anything I do since I don't monitor a news stream on my phone as many do.

So I come for the news and stay for the BS.

MAS956 01-07-2024 11:42 AM

A proud not gross polluter at .07 posts per day. 22+ years of membership.

It'll take about 3 weeks. Wish me luck!

stevej37 01-07-2024 01:14 PM

^^^ Mark
for that many years...that is weak. :D

Steve Carlton 01-07-2024 01:16 PM

Let's see who can get there first!

Good Luck...You'll need it.:)

speeder 01-07-2024 02:01 PM

There is quantity and then there is quality. How many of your posts involve slapping of some kind? Pimp slapping, cratch slapping, etc.?

stevej37 01-07-2024 02:19 PM

^^^
I'm careful about that....don't want to lose my pay level. :)
PPOT rule #3

Weak, but not (even) weekly....😀

billybek 01-07-2024 02:47 PM

1.32. It has been steadily decreasing over the last 4 or 5 years. Still visit the forum pretty much every day.

stevej37 01-07-2024 03:22 PM

My 'join date' is listed as 2002
I don't think that is correct. There was a computer switch-over about that time and the member start dates were reset. I remember seeing that my join date had lost a couple years.

Me too. I actually joined on the R1100S page when I bought my '99.

stevej37 01-07-2024 03:48 PM

^^^ We both may be eligible for some monetary compensation. :D

stevej37 01-07-2024 06:10 PM

PPD is over-rated. It's the total posts that count.
Is there anyone on here with over 50K?

Yep, same for me, started on the 911 tech board, and was pretty active there for 3-4 years until a little after I sold my 911. I eventually moseyed over here since that lost some appeal, and found this great bunch.

Total Posts: 49,471
Posts Per Day: 6.10
Joined Oct 2001. I think I actually had another profile in 2000, but somehow ended up with a second.

It's easy to post a post or two or three to several threads a day. I'm sure that there are days when I make 20-30 posts. I'm also sure that there are days when I make none.

Hell yeah. There are several folks with more posts than I've got. I suspect there are folks with 60-80k.

GH85 Carrera and Byron are both over 50k.

stevej37 01-07-2024 06:50 PM

Tabs is over 50K....he is in danger of losing his spot if he doesn't show up soon. :)

I remember seeing someone with over 60K...but I can't remember who it was.

stevej37 01-07-2024 06:54 PM

Wow....I didn't realize Glen had that many...78K SmileWavy

He is surely due a reward/trophy.

That is a lot of posting, a lot of pictures.

Steve Carlton 01-07-2024 07:42 PM

I think he's told us at least 20,000 times how long he's owned his El Camino, how many miles are on it, and how he has no car payments.
