I don't know the racecar driver, but, I do get this from my wife.

I remind her I can only process one thing at a time and because her call is important to me, and due to high call volumes, I can only do so much. Therefore, she could decide the most important thing, and tell me that, so I can fix that.

This clears the other 99% of pestering immediately. I get slapped, but, at least I'm only getting pestered on one thing at a time.
