I really liked his early work. Once politics got involved, he seems to have lots some of his polish…

One of the locally owned TV stations hired Toby back at the beginning of his career to sing their jingle. He was paid a whopping $2,000. They had hired Reba McEntire when she was first starting as well.

Fun fact , his record company hired Taylor Swift to her first recording contract . I think she was 15 at the time .
