Back in my old 'hood we had a drive in dive called Johnny & Hanges. The classic 50's era burger joint. They served fries with their own chili type gravy. It was NASTY but we were young, stupid and stoned.

Steak fries are awesome dipped in brown gravy, for all other fries I like good ol buttermilk ranch dressing with a few drops of Sriracha mixed in.
