Bandit's T/A was an automatic and had T-Tops. The seller states that they have "everything needed to install the T-tops" so what's that mean, that they have the T-Top panels and a sawzall?

Hurst Hatch roof panels were installed by simply cutting the hardtop roof. No bracing is added. It's just the "U" trim and the t-top panels. This us why the tops rattle and leak so much. I'd suggest NOT adding them.

Thanks Buddy, I'm over the Trans Am for now, I'm starting to sink money into the 928 again. No time to finish rebuilding the engine so I have it at one of my customers. And so much more to do.

Beautifully presented, shoved into a corner of a crowded garage with the hood up.
Is that an oil leak or a drip tray under the car?

I worked at a Pontiac dealer when I was a kid and these were new. I remember thinking what a steaming POS they were, even at the time. But if slow, heavy and build quality that suggests drunken 8 year olds working the assembly line is your thing, by all means, invest in one.

Back when the engineering challenge at GM was how to squeeze 112 RWHP out of a 6.6 liter V-8.

Why cut a solid roof on a solid car ? That is just being dumb in my book.

Which makes it a perfectly viable option for a '77 TransAm imo .
