Bars and restaurants in San Francisco
I tried posting this enquiry in the California regional board but no joy..
One of my husband's clients is going to be working in San Francisco for a few weeks. Can anyone help with the details of some good restaurants and bars. He knows good food and wine and is on an expense account.

I would suggest "Big Al's" in North Beach...but beware, I haven't been there since the mid 1960's...

There are too many great restaurants and bars to mention; Betelnut, Stinking Rose, Minerva.
Check the internet listings for San Francisco dining/entertainment.
